War Is One Form, Of God's Crowd Control

How soon we forget. As Christians we are so quick, to abandon our faith. At the first sign of trouble we begin to rely on our finite wisdom, for understanding. We don't know the end result, of what we're going through. So we must learn to trust in God and never doubt. The same God we served yesterday, is today and forever more. As written below we see. Scripture teaches us, on more than one occasion:
Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. In times like these, our faith should set us apart. We shouldn't look at our present circumstances, the way unbelievers do. I know that's easier said than done. But what else can you really do? People want to blame the war in Iraq, on President Bush. In the next breath, they profess their trust in God. If you really think, he'll bring you through. Let it be evident in your everyday behavior. Don't be among the crowd always predicting doom. Be the bearer of light, in a dark situation.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I was listening today to the total number of American casualties, caused in this war. We have yet to match the number of people, that lost their lives in 30 minutes on 9/11. The total number of troops lost, is just over 2400 to date. Don't misunderstand my statement. One death is too many, but it's inevitable in war. It is by the grace of God, that we live in a country. Where we don't have fighting on our soil. Except the wars in our streets, some unsavory element in our society has created. We as Americans can't deal with a power outages, for a couple of hours. Let alone a couple of years. America is the richest country in the world, even our beggars are choosy. Don't let anyone fool you,they're like little Chihuahuas. Barking inside the closed fence. You couldn't melt them and pour them out of the states. All these people carrying the flag for other countries, haven't put together an exodus yet. They think this country is so bad, but they wouldn't go anywhere else. I was studying Ecclesiastes earlier, and the writer summarized it best:

Ecclesiastes 3
1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

The writer goes on to use twenty other life experiences , twenty-eight in all. To demonstrate that all actions have their opposite effect. There's two sides to everything. What goes up, must come down. What goes around, comes around. When we go through the vicissitudes of life. We should experience a certain peace of mind, that non-believers don't have. In our faith we find the assurance that all things have validity in their own time. When we consider that before the end of time:

Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

This might sound cruel to some, but it's the truth. There's no in the middle. If you're not with him, you're against him. Look what God did to the Amalekites. He totally wiped them out . Contrary to what many would have you think. Everyone is not going to receive eternal life. Those who stand for evil. Will be defeated and crushed one way or another. Unfortunately sometimes it comes in the form of wars. In the grand scheme of things. Even with war, their are overcrowded regions. With all the casualties of war. There are still people starving to death. When things happen I don't understand. I must always remember. All things that happen, are allowed by God.
